About me

Donald Walton, CRNP is board-certified as an adult gerontology acute care Nurse Practitioner. He specializes in critical care medicine within the ICU units at Lancaster General Hospital.

Prior to joining Pulmonary Associates of Lancaster in 2021, Donald worked as a Charge Nurse in the Critical Care Unit at Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital and as a staff nurse at in the Progressive Care Unit at Penn Medicine Chester County Hospital.

He earned the Outstanding Graduate Award, Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Track from Drexel University in 2020.

Outside of work, Donald enjoys spending time with his wife and family.

I provide care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit and am dedicated to compassionately communicate the types of care and decisions with them and sometimes that is also with the patient’s designated family member(s) in order to provide the care and support the patient would want.
